The brief

Deshaj needed an online storefront for traditional village-sourced staples — desi ghee, mustard oil, masale and daal — that felt rooted in its identity rather than a generic supermarket template.

What we built

Designed and coded a dark, warm custom WordPress and WooCommerce theme pairing English display typography with a Hindi tagline (गाँव से, सीधे आपकी रसोई तक).
Structured product categories across ghee, mustard oil, masale and daal, and imported the catalogue in bulk.
Kept product browsing and WhatsApp contact straightforward for mobile shoppers.
